Ms. Taryn Roman, a National Board-Certified teacher in Early Childhood Education, has been a kindergarten teacher at Lemon Road for more than 10 years. Prior to teaching, she spent 14 years working for nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth, and their families. Ms. Roman is committed to helping all children develop to their full potential, and she views learning through play as essential for children to reach that potential. Ms. Roman has a B.A. from St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN) and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Concentration in Early Childhood Education for Diverse Learners from George Mason University.
