The Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments are taken by students in grades 3 - 6. They are used in Fairfax County Public Schools to assess the acquisition of grade-level content and both fulfill federal and state requirements.

Students who score between 350-399 on a SOL test automatically have an opportunity for an expedited retake during the same testing window. Expedited retakes are optional.
